PROSPECT — Mrs. Rosemary T. (Perazzella) Hurlbut, 75, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Paradigm Healthcare Center in Prospect after a long illness. She was the wife of Charles Henry Hurlbut for 50 wonderful years.
Mrs. Hurlbut was born in Waterbury on Dec. 29, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Francis Perazzella, Sr. and the late Adelaide (Savage) Mastropietro. She was a graduate of Post College where she was a Dean’s List student and member of the honor society. She retired from Meridien Manor in Waterbury where she had worked as an accountant and also worked as a secretary at New England Masonry for many years. Rosemary was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. She was a world traveler and enjoyed golfing, ceramics and gardening,
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hurlbut is survived by her sister-in-law, Maryann Perazzella of Wolcott; her niece, Debra Berthold of Wolcott and her three nephews, Frank Perazzella, Jr. of Wolcott, Robert Perazzella of Wolcott and James Perazzella of Wolcott.
Private funeral services and burial in Prospect Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
