NAUGATUCK — Work to replace part of a water main on Rubber Avenue will continue this week.
Beginning Monday, contractors will be working near the intersection of Rubber Avenue and Meadow Street. During construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained and there will continue to be access to local businesses in the construction zone.
The Connecticut Water Company is replacing 4,000 feet of a water main, which was originally installed in the 1930’s, between Brookside Avenue and Meadow Street. The project is expected to be completed in early July.
